It seems Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray has found a fan in Filipino-Canadian actress Shay Mitchell.
Shay and co-star Penn Badgley are currently in Manila for a series of events to promote their new Netflix series titled YOU.
Both stars met up with local members of the press during the In Conversation with YOU event on Monday, January 14, at The Peninsula Manila hotel in Makati City.
A few moments before the event, the 31-year-old actress-model gave Catriona a shout-out on her Instagram stories while having her hair and makeup done.
She said, "Just trying to look like Miss Universe over here, you now what I mean? Oh! Look at that hair!"
Catriona replied on Shay's Instagram Story, "OMG brb fangirling @shaymitchell Hi @robbiepinera @santiagoraymond."
ANNE'S GLAM TEAM
Shay also gave It's Showtime! host Anne Curtis a shout-out because her hair and makeup were done by Anne's glam team.
She changed into a pink mini dress by Rebecca Vallance after the presscon.
Robbie Pinera gave Shay a blush, peach-toned makeup look, while, Raymond Santiago gave Shay some luscious waves.
The Hollywood star loved the over-all look, and told Anne in one of her Instagram Stories in jest, "Anne, stealing your glam, okay?"
Anne, of course, responded and said, "Haha! With pleasure! You look amazing! Enjoy Manila Thrilla!"
