In the modern world, technology is everywhere. Look at the wrists of your friends, for example. More than likely, many of the people you hang with are wearing fitness trackers.

Everything we do in society today is shaped by the technology around us. People are connected by their technology, and their daily routines center around their technology. Because of this new dependence on tech, innovation has become more crucial than ever.

Products are constantly being tested and improved to bring a new aspect of convenience or utility to consumers’ lives. One area of technological innovation that is drawing a lot of attention is health and lifestyle gadgets and devices. Improvements in manufacturing and utility have created a surge of interest in wearable medical technology.

The prevalence of social media in today’s society has sparked a new interest in fitness for many. This newfound public interest in fitness and health means that companies are now also showing interest in the industry. New innovations and products are making it easier than ever before to practice healthy living. Below, we’re highlighting fitness trackers and examining some of the best options on the market.

FitBit Sense

The first fitness tracker on our list comes from FitBit. FitBit fitness trackers are a huge name in the health and wellness gadget industry, and the newest development continues to exceed expectations.

Similar to previous models, the FitBit Sense tracks vitals such as blood flow, heart rate, and can even monitor ECG readings. FitBit will then use this data to suggest personalized fitness programs to help maximize your workouts.

The new FitBit also has a new program called a Daily Readiness Score. The FitBit Sense will take the data it has gathered from your workout and sleep and suggest whether to prioritize exercise or recovery on any given day.

Furthermore, the new model features improved materials, quality, and battery life. The combination of new features and a trustworthy brand name makes FitBit Sense one of the top fitness trackers available.

Apple Watch Series 7

Next on our list is another fitness tracker from a notable name brand. The Apple Watch Series 7 is a great fitness tracking option.

Similar to the FitBIt Sense, the Series 7 tracks and monitors your vitals and can suggest personalized fitness options. Furthermore, Apple also touts a larger display and massively improved battery and charging capabilities for their new model.

The main advantage the Apple Watch offers customers is the ability to sync with iPhone. Users can text, call, play music, and more using their Apple Watch. It’s a more expensive alternative, but the Apple Watch Series 7 is a great fitness tracker.

Garmin Forerunner 245

The Garmin Forerunner 245 is next on our list of fitness trackers to check out. This fitness watch provides a sleek, lightweight design that is perfect for runners.

Like the other trackers on this list, the Garmin Forerunner monitors a wide variety of vitals, and even offers a personalized Garmin coach. Along with other vitals, the fitness watch also tracks running dynamics like cadence and stride. This information can be used by runners to adapt their style to maximize their speed and endurance.

The Garmin Forerunner also offers some other features like built-in sports applications, training and recovery trackers, and 24-hour battery life. The fitness watch lacks some of the convenience/compatibility functions of the Apple Watch but comes at a significantly lower price. The Garmin Forerunner 245 is a great option to consider for hardcore runners.

Samsung Galaxy Watch4

The next entry on our list of top fitness trackers is the Samsung Galaxy Watch4. The Galaxy Watch4 offers tracking of heart rate and ECG readings.

It is also the first fitness tracker that monitors bioelectrical impedance analysis, or BIA. By tracking your BIA you can ensure that you are staying on course for your fitness goals. The watch will also automatically track your workout, even if you forget to press start.

The major advantage offered by the Galaxy Watch4 is it’s compatibility with Samsung phones. Similarly to the Apple Watch, the device allows users to access phone services from the watch. Samsung also boasts that the Galaxy Watch4 has a 40 hour battery life to ensure usage throughout your workout.

Even if you don’t have a Samsung smartphone, the Galaxy Watch4 is a great fitness tracker to explore.

Amazfit 5

The final entry on our list of fitness trackers to look into provides a cheap alternative. The Amazfit 5 from Amazon offers the tracking of vitals similar to other products, albeit in a reduced capacity.

The device can monitor your exercise and sleep and help you to plan your next workout. The Amazfit 5 also offers alexa services to its customers to help with user ease of use.

However, where the Amazfit 5 cements itself as a great option is with its pricing at well under $100. While perhaps not offering top of the line utility, the Amazfit 5 provides a great alternative fitness tracker at a fraction of the cost.
