Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes Send Demi Lovato Flowers With a Thoughtful Note: ‘You Inspired Us’
Legends supporting legends! Demi Lovato took to her Instagram Story to reveal fellow artists Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello sent the “Cool for the Summer” songstress a heartwarming gift, as well as a thoughtful message.
“Hey Demi, we’re thinking of you [and] talking about how much you inspired us when we were kids. Love you, Shawn and Camila,” the couple wrote, along with sending a bouquet of multicolored roses.
“This is so f–king sweet and cute … and I also feel old now, but it’s totally worth it because this is so thoughtful. Thank you guys so much! I love you both,” Demi captioned her post on Wednesday, November 20.
Ummm, if that doesn’t bring a smile to your face today, we don’t know what will! Speaking of smile-worthy content, Demi has a new man in her life and seems happier than ever!
On November 13, the former Disney Channel star went Instagram official with L.A.-based model Austin Wilson. “My heart,” Demi wrote, while sharing a black-and-white selfie of the newly minted duo.
Unfortunately, a lot of Demi’s fans had negative things to say, including that Austin, looks like “a drug dealer.” Thankfully, her loved ones chimed in with words of support and encouragement.
“Gorgeous,” Debra Messing, Demi’s Will & Grace costar, wrote. “Love you guys,” added Demi’s mom, Dianna De La Garza. “Aww,” commented Ashley Graham, while celebrity esthetician Renée Rouleau echoed, “To love and be loved, so happy for you and Austin, D!!!”
Between Demi’s continued sobriety — the pop star suffered a near-fatal overdose in July 2018 — new music and blossoming romance, we suspect that 2020 is going be her major comeback year! We look forward to more special moments from her in the months to come.
