Alice B. (Martin) Rudy

Rudy, Alice B. (Martin) Age 85 of Cedar Crest, New Mexico, passed on July 13, 2019. Formerly of St. Louis Park, MN. Preceded in death by Husband of 63 years Ted Rudy. Survived by daughters Shelley Johnson, Kristen and Lisa Rudy, Grandchildren Natalie and Wyatt Johnson, Brother Dale Wolfe (Shohreh). Alice was born in Seattle, WA and grew-up in Wichita, KS. Alice was a dedicated wife and mother and stayed at home until the girls were old enough to take care of themselves. She then pursued a career as a housing inspector for the City of Minneapolis. Alice and Ted spent their first 6 months of retirement living in the South of France which was a lifetime dream for Alice, a Francophile fluent in French. Upon their return, they moved to the high desert of New Mexico. Alice was a lover of arts & culture; she dabbled in silver jewelry making and pottery, played the guitar and was an accomplished gourmet cook. There will be a celebration of life open house on Saturday, September 7th at 4820 Park Commons Dr., St Louis Park, MN in the party room from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Memorials to the American Lung Association or donor's choice.
