An arrest was made following a triple shooting in Rosedale that left a mother and son dead and an 8-year-old girl recovering in the hospital.
Crime scene tape closed off the 5500 block of Lanham Way as police said three people were shot.
"The victims were shot inside and outside of the home,” Reason said.
An 8-year-old girl was shot taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while police said her relatives, a mother and son, identified as Nyatiaha Faltz, 42, and Grantley Herbert, 19, later died of their injuries.
Police said the shooting was an isolated, domestic-related incident.
Antowan S Clark, 42, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder. He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on a no-bail status pending a bail review hearing.
Loved ones said the family has lived in the home in Rosedale for years until police told 11 News an argument within the household turned deadly.
"It is really a tragedy,” said a neighbor who did not want to be identified. "Her son went to high school with my daughter. I'm just so sad. My heart hurts."
Flowers and balloons sit outside of the home, lying beside shattered glass left behind a reminder of their final moments.
"Stuff like this does not happen in this area, and I'm just so sad. I'm very sad,” the neighbor said.
