Mike Trudell: Andre Drummond (right big toe contusion) and Wesley Matthews (neck contusion) are questionable for Tuesday night’s game at the Raptors (played in Tampa). Toronto plays Washington tonight. Kyle Lowry is out, and Fred Van Vleet is questionable for that front end of their B2B.

"I didn't really think anything of it," Drummond said. "I came back in the second quarter and it was hurting a little bit more. And then after halftime I finally took my sock off to look and my whole toenail was gone. It was all bad from there. I couldn't walk or run, so I just told coach to take me out." Frank Vogel obliged, and Drummond limped to the locker room shortly after. X-rays were negative. The Lakers said Drummond will be re-evaluated Thursday and is considered day-to-day. Their next game is Friday on the road against the Sacramento Kings.

Drummond said Bucks center Brook Lopez stepped on his foot in the first quarter, causing the injury. "I didn't really think anything of it," Drummond said. Lakers forward Markieff Morris said he has lost a toenail before and that it was an ordeal to overcome. "I mean I played the next game, but s---, man, that s--- was like a month and a half before it started feeling better," Morris said. "Because you don't realize how much your toe is rubbing against the top of your shoes, or you're using your toe for power. ... It's a terrible thing." Said Drummond: "I've lost a toenail before. But this one was very painful."
Kelsey Russo: Larry Nance Jr. is listed as out (wrist sprain) in the #Cavs game notes for tonight against the Timberwolves. Andre Drummond (low back soreness) is listed as questionable. Kevin Love and Matthew Dellavedova remain out.

Andre Drummond could join the line of Detroit Pistons masked men. After Drummond had recent surgery to correct a deviated septum, a problem that’s caused him breathing issues for several years, Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy told the Free Press on Friday that it could make Drummond more prone to a broken nose.
“The only thing is there’s a little bit of a chance that it makes you more susceptible to breaks, which he knew going, which means he may have to wear a mask, at times,” Van Gundy said outside the Quest Multisport facility. "Or if it gets hit. So we’ll see.”
