CANDLER COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Farm-related businesses in Candler County have a place to grow. That place is helping draw some attention on state-wide television.

As agribusiness in Candler County grows and becomes more diverse, they look for more ways to get their name out all across the state.

Some Candler County farmers and others got a sneak peak of a new show that will showcase them in an upcoming episode. David Zelski has done travel and tourism shows with Georgia Public Broadcasting.

This time, he’s teamed with Georgia Grown to spotlight farm operations here and around the state. “A Fork in the Road” will show Candler County’s traditional crops as well as innovations like the GSU Business Incubator where startup businesses can grow.

“There’s nothing like it. You know, you have your offices here, and three miles out you have farms. And twenty miles away, you’ve got Georgia Southern,” said Zelski.

The show premieres this weekend. The episode featuring Candler County runs later this month.
