Senior center is offering art class

A watercolor painting class will be offered at the senior center from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays from Sept. 15 until Oct. 28. The course is for individuals of all levels who want to work with watercolors. The class will teach techniques with floating color, spray bottles, masking, wash scrubbing, negative painting, surprise finishing touches, salt and layering. The course will be taught by Audrey Carroll Prucnal, an award-winning published artist. The cost of the six two-hour classes is $40, which should be paid by Sept. 9. A list of necessary supplies will be provided upon sign-up.
