Marianna Korytkowska, age 89, beloved wife of the late Witol Korytkowski, died peacefully on May 8, 2020 at the Shady Knoll Health Center, Seymour. Born in Jankowo Mlodzianowo, Poland on August 26, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Stanislaw and Kazimiera Baczewska Dabkowski. Mrs. Korytkowska emigrated from Poland to the United States in 1987; she settled in Derby and has since been a Valley resident. Mrs. Korytkowska worked as an assembler for the Derby Cellular Products Co., for over 10 years, until the time of her retirement in 2001. She was an avid reader, enjoyed watching “Dancing with the Stars”, and will be long remembered for her special and devoted love for her grandchildren and family. She is survived beloved children, Jadwiga (Waclaw) Cichocka of Poland, Elizabeth (Richard) Konopka of Derby, Waldemar (Teresa) Korytkowski of Ansonia and Barbara (John) Damjanovich of Seymour; 10 cherished grandchildren and a great-granddaughter, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a grandson, Karol Korytkowski and a brother, Marian Dabkowski. Due to the social restrictions of the Covid-19 Pandemic, all funeral services will be private. A future Memorial Mass will be announced by the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia.
