Rudy Gobert, the NBA All-Star whose positive coronavirus test began the nationwide shutdown of nearly all spectator sports, said Sunday he’s lost his sense of smell due to his illness.

Loss of taste and smell are believed to be symptoms of coronavirus, according to The New York Times. More common symptoms include fever, shortness of breath and cough, though not all symptoms may be present or present at the same time.

The 27-year-old Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus on March 11, just prior to the Utah Jazz’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Gobert’s positive test prompted the NBA to immediately suspend its operations, and most other American professional and college leagues followed suit.
