Teddy Bear Tea Tickets Go On Sale Monday, October 8

From tiniest tot to the tallest and wisest of grown-ups, Teddy Bear Tea has been a holiday tradition enjoyed by all at Walnut Creek’s Gardens at Heather Farm for more than 20 years. With fancy, but kid-friendly tea service, tea-time treats, festive music, raffle prizes, a holiday boutique, and of course, lots and lots of teddy bears, this two-day event is a perfect winter-time outing for families.

Guests enter a colorful, snowflake-filled wonderland to enjoy a variety of savories, sandwiches and sweet treats, as well as a visit to “Bearland” for story time and a special holiday-themed photo opportunity. Kids can wear their “fancy dress,” practice party etiquette and drink real (decaffeinated) tea or juice in china cups. All kids take home party favors.

Each event day will feature food service donated by a professional catering sponsor, with a unique, custom menu designed specifically for Teddy Bear Tea. Guests on Saturday will enjoy service by Walnut Creek’s Sunrise Bistro and Catering; and on Sunday, food for the seatings will be provided by Oakland-based Carrie Dove Catering and Events.

This event sells out very quickly and advanced reservations are required. Seatings are at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day. While all ages are welcome, this event is ideal for children ages 3-9. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are non-refundable.
