City wants to clean up three Charlottetown properties

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Charlottetown’s public works department has been given the green light to clean up three properties.

The properties are 76 Douglas St., 17 Ralden Ave. and 103 Brackley Point Rd.

Douglas Street property:

Brackley Point Road property:

Council recently gave unanimous approval under the city’s dangerous, hazardous and unsightly bylaw.

The bylaw authorizes the public works manager to have the following done at each property — cut the grass, remove garbage and other materials or debris and dispose of it. All of it comes at the owner’s expense.
