Nashville – Music City Bandwidth presented by Jack Daniel's hosts 30 concerts now through Oct.
31 at 15 independent music venues featuring 120 Nashville-based musicians of diverse genres. They can be streamed worldwide here.
Franklin – The Field at Franklin is a new drive-in theater from AP Presents showing classic movies each weekend to safely enjoy from your car or tailgate with friends and family with a picnic during the show.
Murfreesboro – Hop Springs Beer Park has a new outdoor stage for live music with plenty of room for social distancing. Grab a brew, listen to live music, walk on the trail, play disc golf and let pups play in the dog park.
Bell Buckle – Hunt for fun with Historic Bell Buckle’s new scavenger hunt. Find an item, post it to Facebook and tag @bellbucklechambertn & on Instagram tag @bellbucklechamber to be entered to win a prize.
Waynesboro – The Wayne County Museum began their long-anticipated project to celebrate its rich music history with the “Walk of Stars” downtown on the Wayne County Courthouse walkway.
Knoxville - Knoxville Outdoor Tours offers a custom-built mountain bike guiding service throughout more than 1,000 acres of Knoxville’s Urban Wilderness trail system, including Baker Creek Preserve and Ijams Nature Center.
Pelham – The Caverns’ Above Ground Concert Series with Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Oct. 9-11, brings back live music outdoors with plenty of space for social distancing.
Gatlinburg – Relax, recharge and reconnect at Treehouse Grove, a family-owned treetop escape at the doorstep of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where eight luxurious, custom designed treehouses await.
Sevierville - MonsterMash Burgers is a fun restaurant any time of year, but especially during fall & Halloween with fresh ground meats, monster-themed everything and even a Frankenstein Burger challenge.
Statewide – Walls for Women celebrates 100 years of women’s suffrage and Tennessee’s place in history ratifying the 19th amendment with original art created by all-female muralists in cities across the state.
New Restaurant, Attraction & Shop Openings
Memphis –Hazel’s Lucky Dice Delicatessen in the Cooper-Young neighborhood serves up an eclectic menu of sandwiches and treats. Grab a fresh-flavored waffle and scoop of ice cream at the new I Love Waffle Cream.
Nashville – Coming downtown late fall 2020, the National Museum of African American Music takes visitors on a journey through the connections and influences African Americans have had on all genres of music. Over 50 genres and subgenres will be explorable at the museum, through history exhibits and interactive technology.
Nashville – The new Ellison Place Soda Shop is more than twice as big as the original with a boozy shakes bar, a music stage, a walk-up window and free parking. The soda shop was built right next to the original.
Nashville - Yolan and Denim at The Joseph Nashville, by husband and wife duo Cathy and Tony Mantuano (James Beard Award winner) focuses on Italian fine dining with the couple’s signature attention to hospitality.
Murfreesboro – Be wowed by spicy hot chicken and sweet cobbler at Pepper + Peach Hot Chicken.
Gallatin – Locally-owned EPIC Eatery opened its doors to fine dining as part of the event venue EPIC Event Center. The eatery specializes in steaks and seafood dishes. Reservations are required.
Goodlettsville - Chef Michael Haggerty and Keith Zust, the co-owners of the former Sea Salt Restaurant in Nashville, opened their wood-fired Pitchfork Pizza Parlor.
Hendersonville – Pinspiration Studios provides everything needed to make a variety of DIY crafts as seen on Pinterest. Guests can create works of art without the worry of making a mess in the popular Splatter Room.
Knoxville – HenHoc Butcher & Deli is a butcher shop and deli from Chef Jeffrey DeAlejandro (of Oli Bea). Located in the Old City, HenHoc offers quality meats, charcuterie, and provisions for your kitchen (and to-go deli items).
Knoxville – Home-style cooking awaits at the family-friendly pizza joint, The Farrugut Table, formerly Mario’s Pizza & Grill. The restaurant serves up custom pizzas, wings, sandwiches & pasta.
Kingsport – Inspired by her country’s culture, America started making her fresh Chilean homemade empanadas from her home kitchen and opened her own restaurant, America’s Empanadas, downtown. Another new restaurant, Fusion, provides a delicious combination of Tex-Mex, Italian and American cuisines.
Kingsport – Kingsport Miracle Field is built to accommodate special needs children, wheelchairs and amputees. The baseball field at Brickyard Park also includes a pavilion and all-accessible playground.
New Breweries and Distilleries
Clarksville – The locally-owned Strawberry Alley Ale Works in historic downtown combines chef-inspired food and expertly made craft beer, including their new Oktoberfest brew, an amber-hued marzen.
Franklin - Curio Brewing Company is the newest stop on Franklin’s Masters & Makers Trail with cold brews and coffee concoctions and taps filled with local favorites and experimental brews.
Franklin – Gray Line Middle Tennessee will transport up to 8 guests from anywhere in Franklin or Nashville with black car service and take them on a Dinner & Distilleries private tour of Leiper’s Fork Distillery and H Clark Distillery and end with a private dinner and cocktails at CIRCA Restaurant.
Knoxville - Orange Hat Brewing Co. offers craft beer selections brewed in house, cold brew coffee, kombucha, and the potential of hard seltzers. Food trucks are on site Thursdays-Sundays. The new Ebony Ivory Brewingencourages diversity and counterculture communities often partnering for creative, collaborative brews.
Kingsport - Gypsy Circus Cider, Tennessee’s first cidery, takes pride in using locally-sourced, fresh-pressed apples. With a newly renovated outdoor cider-garden, there’s room to socially distance while enjoying a drink.
Wartburg – MoCo Brewing Project serves craft beer and freshly brewed coffee/espresso drinks. The craft brewery has 16 beers on tap with new specialty beers expected this fall.

Memphis – Canopy by Hilton pays homage to the soulful spirit of downtown while infusing a hip, modern feel. Chef Fabio Viviani showcases American cuisine with Spanish and Italian fare at the hotel’s restaurant, Curfew.
Nashville – DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Nashville’s Airport’s recent renovations offer new suites and outdoor oasis at the Fleetwood Patio Bar, private cabanas by the pool and a courtyard with a firepit.

Fall In-Person & Virtual Events Across Tennessee (September-December)
Pigeon Forge – Contestants can send audition videos to the Path to Fame Virtual Talent Competition by Sept. 30. One lucky winner will score a grand prize including a virtual chat with Craig Morgan.
Nashville – (Sept. 22-Nov. 1) Cheekwood Harvest features two life-sized pumpkin houses and pumpkin patch, thousands of colorful mums and special events like Virtual Japanese Moon Viewing, Virtual El Dia de los Muertos and Halloween Pooch Parade. All will run alongside Chihuly at Cheekwood.
Nashville – (Sept. 22-Nov. 8) Explore the haunted side of history at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage Ghost Tours with stories of strange encounters while touring the mansion, grounds and cemetery by lantern.
Columbia – (Sept. 25) Join the inaugural Oktoberfest 6-9 p.m. at Row & Co. in the Columbia Arts District. Sample craft beer, enjoy live German music and local food trucks. All proceeds benefit Room in the Inn.
Covington – (Sept. 25-27) The 25th Annual Covington-Tipton Co. Heritage Festival is packed with activities, food trucks, shopping and fun on the Historic Covington Square.
Kenton – (Sept. 26) Bring a lawn chair or blanket for Harvest Days 3-6 p.m. at White Squirrel Winery with live music. Cheeseburgers, baked beans and chips will be available for $10.
Columbia – (Sept. 26) Join Liberty Grace Farm 6-9 p.m. for Date Night in the Farm with live music, wine, corn hole, a fall inspired charcuterie board, dinner and dessert.
Hampshire – (Sept. 26) The free Sunset Music Series 5-8 p.m. at Natchez Hills Vineyard is fun for the whole family. Wine slushies, wine by the glass and wine flights will be available for purchase.
Winchester – (Sept. 26) The Winchester Wriggle 5-9 p.m. downtown features diverse dining and drinks, shopping, arts and live music, including a Lip Sync Battle at the Kiwanis Amphitheater.
Lebanon – (Sept. 26) Spring Fest in the Grove 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fiddlers Grove Historical Village features handmade crafts, antiques and food trucks. Take a stroll through the pioneer village, visit the Model Train Museum and check out the Monarch Waystation. Admission and parking are free.
Adamsville – (Sept. 26) Stroll and watch artists paint the town at noon at Renaissance on Main. Guests can take part in a community canvas, grab lunch from local food trucks, enjoy music and meet artists at pop-up galleries.
Carthage – (Sept. 26) Journey back in time, learn the history of Smith Co., explore a Colonial Craftsmen’s Fair with blacksmiths, cotton weavers, soap makers, basket weavers and quilters during the William Walton Harvest Festival 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Historic Smith County Courthouse Square in downtown Carthage.
Wartburg – (Sept. 26) Nationally-renowned Elvis tribute artist Matt Cordell brings his two-hour live show to the Country Joy Event Venue. The show starts at 8 p.m.
Jonesborough - (Oct. 1-3) – The National Storytelling Festival is going virtual using the latest streaming and community engagement technology including workshops, storytelling content and special events.
Nashville – (Oct. 1-11) The Southern Festival of Books: A Celebration of the Written Word is virtual this year with free online sessions featuring more than 100 authors.
Paris – (Oct. 1-31) Experience autumn colors with Scarecrows on the Square at the historic Henry County Courthouse. Creativity, whimsy and fun are on display at this social distancing event sponsored by Downtown Paris Association.
Franklin – (Oct. 1-31) “Paint the Town Orange” will have a different theme each week highlighting art galleries, historic sites, pubs, coffee shops, retailers, and restaurants in the historic downtown with plenty of selfie spots.
Columbia – (Oct. 1-31)Every Saturday night in October, historic Downtown Columbia offers history and eerie tales 8 p.m. on the Downtown Ghost Tour beginning at Maury County Courthouse.
Granville – (Oct. 1-31) Visit Historic Granville and enter the magical world of Mayberry for the Scarecrow Festival. Stroll through the garden, marvel at fairy houses, admire whimsical flowers, scarecrows and fall decorations.
Gatlinburg – (Oct. 1-31) Ripley’s Haunted Adventure celebrates its 20th annual Fright Nights with a special show each weekend in October.
Wartburg – (Oct. 1-31) Get creative and competitive for the Squarecrow Showcase Contest planned by the Morgan Co. Tourism Alliance. Scarecrows will be displayed on and around the historic Wartburg Square.
Lynchburg – (Oct. 2-3) Music meets whiskey at the Lynchburg Music Festival with performances by Josh Turner, Danielle Bradbery and Kip Moore. Health and safety measures are in place including increased sanitization, temperature checks, masks provided for every fest attendee and there’s more than 100 acres for social distancing.
Knoxville – (Oct. 2-4) The National Street Rod Association's Annual Street Rod Nationals South features vintage automobiles of nearly every make, model and style from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and through 1989.
Gatlinburg – (Oct. 2-4) Experience, create, learn and enjoy at Hands On Gatlinburg. Learn how to make a piece of art or craft from an artist in the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community and take it home with you.
Clarksville – (Oct. 3) The Customs House and Museum, the iconic 1898 U.S. Post Office and Customs House building downtown, will flip the Switch for the Grand Illumination 7 p.m. to shine a beacon of community pride.
Granville – (Oct. 3) The Streets of Mayberry Town Come to Life 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the fall celebration in Historic Granville
