Troopers say the man they arrested is 43-year-old Jeremy Binns

The Nebraska State Patrol said the suspect in a high-speed chase last week impersonated an innocent man. NSP said the man they arrested is 43-year-old Jeremy Binns, of Iowa. However, troopers said Binns initially provided false information about his identity, saying his name was Devlin Phillips.Troopers said Binns even resembles the real Devlin Phillips.NSP said Phillips is not involved in the case. Law enforcement arrested Binns following a pursuit last week. NSP said they tried to pull Binns over for not having plates near 132nd and Center streets Tuesday night. NSP said the chase hit speeds over 100 miles per hour. Binns crashed near 132nd and Dodge where law enforcement arrested him. Binns faces charges of criminal impersonation, obstruction, and providing false information, as well as willful reckless driving, flight to avoid arrest, possession of methamphetamine, driving during revocation, and no valid registration. Binns also has a warrant for his arrest out of Iowa.
