The PCM summer sports teams have very different looking weeks as softball will play at least five games but the baseball team is only scheduled to play twice.

The Mustangs Softball team will start their week at Chariton tonight. The Chargers went 3-0 in the opening week. Chariton has a team batting average just shy of .350 and are allowing just over a run per game.

PCM Baseball will travel to Greene County Wednesday for the first of their two games on the week. Greene County went 0-2 last week. The Mustangs will look to keep the Rams off the scoreboard, as the Mustangs’ opponent failed to score in the opening week. Head Coach Jeff Lindsay said he is pleased with the leadership his seniors have displayed this season and in their careers.

The softball game at Chariton tonight has a first pitch time scheduled at 7:30.
