Windsor police are seeking information as they work to identify a suspect who pointed a gun at someone at Chimney Park.

About 5 a.m. Monday, the victim was at Chimney Park, 200 E. Chestnut St., and was confronted by a male suspect because the victim’s dog wasn’t on a leash, according to a town news release. The suspect pointed a handgun, possibly a revolver at the victim, who quickly hid behind a tree.

The suspect then walked away with a small white dog. The victim described the suspect as about 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall and heavy set, with a receding hairline. He was last seen wearing a black windbreaker jacket with gray stripes on the sleeves.

Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Sgt. Stephen Wicker at (970) 674-6415 and reference case No. 22-10612.
