Smoking may also limit the body's ability to fight the most deadly form of skin cancer.

That's according to a new British study of over 700 patients with melanoma.

It showed smokers were 40 percent less likely to survive the disease than people who had never smoked.

These findings suggest smoking may damage the immune system increasing the risk of death.
