Snowbirds continue flying in summer 2020

The Snowbirds will be back flying in June.

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds says all the planes have returned to 15 Wing Moose Jaw and a new season of shows will start on June 6th.

The planes were grounded in October after a crash at the Atlanta air show, which cancelled the rest of this year’s season.

The force says the investigation into the incident is ongoing and the return to operation follows a thorough risk assessment.

The schedule for the Snowbirds 2020 season will be released on December 10th.

This will be the squadron’s 50th anniversary.
