Suspect Arrested In Baldwin Arson

A man is accused of causing a structure fire Thursday in Baldwin.

BALDWIN, PA —A suspect has been arrested in an arson that occurred Thursday at a structure in the 200 block of Revo Road. No injuries occurred during the fire.

According to Allegheny County Police, a witness identified Vincent Chalmers, 46, of Baldwin as the person who set the fire. Chalmers later was located and taken into custody by Pennsylvania State Police in the Meadville area.

He is being detained there while awaiting extradition to Allegheny County to face arson charges, police said.
