If this is your first cruise, you MAY enjoy it. It being our 5-6th time, this was by far the worst. First time sailing with Carnival and might be the last. Trying to be optimistic and blaming it on this specific ship but we’ll see. We chose this cruise because it was going to the two island we were dying to see. Carnival SENSATION sailed to Nassau, Half Moon Cay, and Grand Turk on Sept. 1-5th. Ports were amazing just as imagined. However, the ship... geesh. Sensation was extremely outdated and rusty. TAKE CARE OF YOUR SHIPS CARNIVAL! Some of the couches in the lounges I was terrified to sit on. Looked dusty and old. While going to watch a show, for lack of better terms- the “mini drink table” connected to each individual seat, fell on my ankle! Like we weren’t having a ‘great’ time already! Oh best part, ready? THERE WAS ONE POOL.

The staff - house keeping was amazing. We had Fredie in M26 and Dedy in R98. Both two amazing guys.

The Dining Room staff was for the most part great! We had one guy who seemed to be having a bad day and taking it out on his tables.

Our cabin was decent M26. However, our other room was horrendous, R98. Three people were in R98, and they were on top of each other. We have gone on other cruises where we comfortably fit. Whether you were on the bottom bunk or top, you would HIT YOUR HEAD getting up. The layout was so poorly designed.

M26, was well spread out and well taken care of our room keeper Fredie.
