COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Firefighters don't just help humans -- some firefighters in College Park managed to free a couple of deer that had become trapped in a nearby fence.

Prince George's County Fire spokesman Mark Brady tweeted Thursday that a citizen stopped by College Park Station 812 on Tuesday to report that a pair of deer had become stuck between fence railings a short distance away.

The crew found the deer and were able to use a rope and halligan bar to spread the railings and allow the deer to go about their day.
