Western Governors University
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH — The following local residents have earned degrees from Western Governors University (WGU). The online, nonprofit university held commencement ceremonies for more than 10,000 graduates in Cincinnati, Ohio; Anaheim, California; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Seattle, Washington.
Emily Glazier and Megan Todd, both of Fortville, earned bachelor of science degrees in nursing. Amanda Chatmon, Greenfield, earned a bachelor of science degree in marketing management.

Local graduate earns honors at
Milwaukee School of Engineering
MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN — Nicole Ratts, 2018 Mt. Vernon High School graduate, recently earned academic honors from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Ratts, a Biomedical Engineer, was named to the fall dean’s list. She was also named a scholar athlete for 2018 — 2019 school year and earned a spot on the second team all-conference women’s soccer team. Kettering University fall dean’s list
FLINT, MICHIGAN — Eastern Hancock High School graduates Denver Campbell and Briggs Uhler were recently named to the summer dean’s list at Kettering University. Both are sophomores studying mechanical. Campbell is the son of Chris and Karen Campbell of Greenfield; Uhler is the son of Dusty and Mel Uhler of Charlottesville. on dean’s list at Bradley University
PEORIA, ILLINOIS — Maria Virt, Greenfield, was recently recognized on the Bradley University 2019 fall dean’s list. To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale. Virt is a computer information systems major.
