Home Extensively Damaged In Fire: Granby Police

GRANBY, CT — A family and their pets were safely evacuated from a house fire Wednesday in Granby, according to police.

Emergency crews responded to a structure fire in a single-family residence on Harmony Hill Road around 12:45 p.m. The residents were able to safely evacuate out the home, along with their pets, according to police.

Police said fire units from East Granby, Southwick MA, Granville MA, Hartland and Simsbury provided assistance.

No injuries have been reported and crews remained working at the scene, as of 2 p.m. The Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.

The home was extensively damaged in the fire, according to police.
