Hazlet CVS Now Testing For Coronavirus
HAZLET, NJ — CVS already had 11 stores across New Jersey that test for coronavirus/COVID-19, and this Friday, they will be adding 45 more. And one of them is the Hazlet CVS on Hwy. 35.
The CVS at 3391 Highway 35, Hazlet, NJ 07730 will begin coronavirus testing this Friday, May 29. This is a self-swab test and the testing is drive-through, so you don't even have to get out of the car. This is the nasal swab test only, not the blood test for antibodies.
The Old Bridge CVS is offering testing, too: CVS Pharmacy, 2988 Route 516, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.
Patients must register in advance at CVS.com beginning Friday to schedule an appointment. Patients will be required to stay in their cars and will be directed to the pharmacy drive-thru window, where they will be provided with a test kit and given instructions. Tests will be sent to an independent, third-party lab for processing and the results will be available in approximately three days, said CVS.
As the U.S. has the goal of dramatically increasing coronavirus testing, this brings it to 56 CVS locations across New Jersey that now test for the virus and 1,000 CVS locations nationwide.
Coronavirus testing will not take place inside any retail CVS location; it is all drive-through only.
