Lebron Gustus
Lebron Franklin Gustus, 68, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019, in a local hospital.
He was a graduate of Howard High School. He was a member of St. Elmo Missionary Baptist Church.
Lebron was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Taquisha Gustus; father, Willie Dozier; mother, Willie Lane; brother, Edward Drake; and aunt, Myrtle Lane.
Survivors include his fiancée, Carolyn Douglas; sons, Adrian Gustus and Alvin Poe; daughter, Cornescia Beasley; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, all of Chattanooga; brothers, Jesse (Lori) Stoudmire, Anthony (Vicki) Stoudmire, both of Buffalo, NY, and Darryl (Karen) Dozier of Cleveland; sisters, Gloria (Arnold) Wilson, Beverly Sherry, Barbara Robinson, all of Buffalo, and Dottie Dozier; uncle, Clifford Dozier; aunt, Mary Lou Knowles; cousin, Ernestine Lindsey of Chattanooga; godmother, Elizabeth Bonds; godbrother, Kevin Moore; a host of nephews; nieces; great-nephews; great-nieces; other relatives and friends.
Lebron will lie in state on Sunday, Dec. 15, after 12:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Monday, Dec. 16, at noon in the chapel with Minister Larry High as the eulogist and Pastor Ronald King as the officiant. Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
