'Multiple' Cars Burglarized In Naperville: Police

Police are reminding residents to lock their cars and leave valuables out of sight after the weekend's string of car burglaries.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville police are investigating a string of car burglaries that took place in south and central Naperville over the weekend. Police say car windows were broken out and valuables were stolen from "multiple" cars during the burglaries.

The burglaries took place at two Orange Theory fitness centers and the DuPage River Sportsplex, according to Naperville Police Department Deputy Chief Jason Arres. After the burglaries, the suspects tried to use stolen credit cards fraudulently.

Police are reminding residents to lock their cars and remove phones, purses, wallets and other valuables from their vehicles.
