Pa. inmate accused of threatening ‘worst terrorist threat in American history’

WILLIAMSPORT-A Bradford County Prison inmate has been accused of mailing a letter to the FBI threatening to commit the worst terrorist attack in American history.

Jesse Allen Blake, 24, was indicted Thursday in U.S. Middle District Court on charges of threatening to kill the president and mailing a threatening communication.

The charges stem from a March 29 letter whose contents included:

“When I come home I’m gonna kill a lot of people and commit the worst terrorist attack in American history.

“I will blow or attempt to blow up the White House, the U.N. headquarters and the Pentagon and Trump Tower and to kill the president.

“If you think I’m playing, try me [expletive]. You can’t ever charge me with terroristic threat through letter nor can you put me in federal prison.

“I will terrorize the (expletive) out of America.”

Except for the fact that the letter was postmarked in Harrisburg, the indictment does not contain any other information.

According to the Bradford County district attorney’s office, Blake is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to a statutory sexual assault charge in which the victim was 13 and an aggravated assault count related to an incident at the prison. He is jailed in lieu of $100,000 bail.
