Burger King Turns Customers’ Passports Into A Stamp Card For Free Whoppers In Latest Campaign

A global pandemic may mean you can’t even travel as far as Victoria, but that’s no reason your passport should become redundant says a new campaign by Burger King.

The burger giant’s Swedish operations are now allowing passport holders to turn their passports into free burgers.

Sweden, of course, adopted a “herd mentality” approach to CV-19 which not only didn’t work that well, it saw its citizens banned from travelling to neighbouring countries.

To promote its new “World Gourmet” Burger King’s Swedish agency INGO Stockholm came up with the idea to repurpose customer’s passports as a stamp card in their restaurants.

Each stamp gives you a burger of your choice from the World Gourmet range – burgers inspired from different regions in the world. First out are burgers inspired by Argentina and France.

Daniel Schröder, marketing director at Burger King Sweden commented: “As the Swedish State Department still recommends citizens not to travel we’ll let people repurpose their passport to experience tasty foreign flavours for free here in Sweden.”
