This summer the program includes prepared hot meals, pick-up meal kits and mobile meal delivery.

Asylum for South County Schools kicked off their summer meals program today, providing access to free healthy meals to those who need it this summer. The program includes prepared hot meals, pick up meal kits and mobile meal delivery as well. Meal kits including nutritious breakfast and lunch for Children 18 years and younger for South County schools say the goal is to feed the Children of the community and provide them with the proper nutrition to continue learning. Deborah strew Stewart summer meals program coordinator says that the kits are also a great opportunity for the whole family to get involved. You learn um, nutritional facts about things and you learn how to um teach your kids and you know, your kids teach you to. And so it's very important um, to bring the family together to cook and to learn and to be healthy. Hot meals and meal kit pickups are available at a variety of locations across for South County.
