Kickoff time between LSU and Kentucky set

The LSU Tigers will be playing under the lights in Lexington next Saturday.

Kickoff between LSU and Kentucky has been set for 7:30 p.m. eastern time. The Tigers hold a 40-16-1 all-time lead over the Wildcats, including a two-game winning streak, and seven wins over the last ten games. However, the last time LSU made the trek up to the bluegrass state to take on Kentucky was back in 2007 in an overtime game that No. 17 Kentucky stunned the No. 1 ranked LSU Tigers in.

Kentucky is currently 4-0 and 2-0 in the SEC. The Wildcats earned a big win over Missouri to open up conference play in week two and defeated South Carolina on the road in a defensive affair this past weekend 16-10. Sandwiched in-between those two SEC games was a confusing 28-23 win over Chattanooga, a game that Kentucky struggled mightily in. Which Wildcats show up on Saturday will be most likely be figured out this weekend, as Kentucky takes on No. 10 Florida at home. LSU plays No. 22 Auburn this Saturday before the aforementioned road contest against Kentucky.
