Cabarrus Fair Opens October 21st At Route 29 Pavilion

CONCORD, N.C. — Fairgoers can expect a new twist on the 2021 Cabarrus Fair as it places an emphasis on local food and craft vendors in light of a difficult year for the Cabarrus County community.

After so many regional fairs were cancelled this year, Cabbarus Fair officials say this year’s event will highlight local vendors for all aspects of the fair including all food, games, and rides.

Returning this fall from October 21st through October 31st, the Cabarrus Fair has partnered with the Queen Charlotte Fair to hold this year’s fall fair at the Route 29 Pavilion.

Gates will open Thursday, October 21st at 4 p.m., and tickets are $8 per person online and $10 per person at the venue (tickets for kids ages 6-12 will be $5 online and at the gate),

Kids 5-years-old and younger may enter the fair for free.

Fair officials say parking will be free Monday through Thursday and $5 per car during the weekend.

The entertainment and show schedules will be made available closer to the fair’s opening, and officials remind guests all shows will be free with fair admission.
