Yahoo Sports Rihanna Continues Her Sexy Maternity Style Streak in a Nude Leather Mini Dress at Off-White’s Fashion Show
Rihanna brought her maternity style to Paris, wearing a very form-fitting nude leather Off-White mini dress to the brand’s fashion week show yesterday. She and her boyfriend A$AP Rocky sat in the front row for the event. RiRi wore a Diesel by Glenn Martens coat with it and carried a Dior bag.
The Paris Fashion Week appearance comes after Rihanna made a splash in Milan, attending Gucci’s show in a latex crop top. She wore a dazzling headpiece and purple fuzzy coat with it.
Rihanna spoke to Refinery29 in February about her stance on pregnancy dressing and how she is trying to redefine it conventionally. “Right now I’m really into pushing the idea of sexy,” she said. “When women get pregnant, society tends to make it feel like you hide, hide your sexy, and that you’re not sexy right now [but] you’ll get back there and I don’t believe in that shit. So I’m trying stuff that I might not have even had the confidence to try before I was pregnant. The strappiest, the thinnest, and the more cut-outs the better for me.”
As for as her aspirations for the next decade (after saying in 2008 that she wanted to start a family and fashion and makeup line in that time period), Rihanna told the outlet, “Oh, I gotta be careful with that and what I ask for. Look at me now. I honestly want to be a great mom, I want to be at peace and have true inner bliss. You dream big when you’re really young, and as you grow and life happens to you it really comes down to the simple things. That’s what I want to hold on to. I want to be able to share that and continue it even through charity and Black women’s joy.”
