Edwards announced that Louisiana now has the highest number of COVID-19 cases per capita in the US.This comes after Louisiana saw its third-highest case count day since the start of the pandemic. On Wednesday, the Louisiana Department of Health reported more than 5,000 new coronavirus cases. The state also saw a spike in hospitalizations, the highest since February.Gov.
