Building collapse in Russellville closes SR 125

RUSSELLVILLE, Ohio (WKRC) - A long-vacant building collapsed Friday in Russellville Friday morning. Main Street is closed due to the collapse.

Chance Neu and another viewer sent us the photos from Brown County.

No one was hurt when the second floor collapsed, according to Neu. Another viewer said the building has been vacant for a long time. It's also been vandalized.

That viewer also said the foundation on one side had collapsed a few years ago. She said rain has been leaking into the house, causing further damage.

The building is believe to be well over 100 years old.
