FLORENCE, Ala. – A man has been arrested for child abuse in Florence.
Florence Police said Stephen Purdy, 32, was arrested after DHR notified FPD of the situation.
Purdy was charged with torture/willful abuse of a child under 18 years of age.
Purdy was taken to the Lauderdale County Jail and released on a $2,500 bond.
