Alabama added 1,122 new coronavirus cases in Alabama, bringing the state’s total number of cases since March to 97,725.
The Alabama Department of Public Health’s Aug. 9 10 a.m. numbers show 1,707 deaths, up 13 from yesterday.
Alabama has tested 758,852 people for coronavirus, 162,282 in the last two weeks. Of those recent tests, 19,164 – or a little under 12% - were positive. ADPH said Alabama has had 37,923 COVID-19 recoveries.
