COVID-19 Update For Washington County

MARIETTA, OH – The Marietta/Belpre Health Department and Washington County Health Department share the latest information on COVID-19.

According to the Ohio Department of Health dashboard, Washington County has 7,995 COVID-19 cases, 362 hospitalizations, (not including an additional 38 hospitalizations that were reported without a date of admission), and 137 deaths to date. Washington County has 557 active cases. Washington County is ranked as the 76th county for the highest case rates in Ohio at 450.7 cases per 100,000 in the last two weeks. Washington County's COVID-19 positivity rate is 23.8%. Washington County continues with a “high transmission” rate of COVID-19.

According to the Ohio Department of Health Vaccination Dashboard, 49.46% of Washington County residents and 54.66% of Ohioans received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and 45.55% of Washington County residents and 50.96% of Ohioans received all CDC recommended doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
