Fire damages Battle Creek restaurant

BATTLE CREEK, MI – A fire Thursday, Jan. 21, damaged Hogzilla BBQ on West Columbia Avenue.

The fire was reported at 8:36 p.m. The first firefighters to reach the scene reported heavy fire conditions.

No one was in the restaurant, at 889 W. Columbia Ave., at the time of the fire, Battle Creek firefighters said.

Firefighters were on the scene until just before midnight. No cause or damage estimate has been determined.
