The five are charged in the slaying of Rossana Delgado, 37, of Bethlehem, who was working as a taxi driver for One Taxi Service in Gwinnett County when she went missing, according to the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office.

Delgado’s body was found April 20 in a home near Cherry Log in Gilmer County. She was reported missing April 17.

The GBI, working alongside Homeland Security agents from Atlanta and Harlingen, Texas, as well as authorities in Matamoros, Mexico, arrested the suspects. The GBI did not release details of how and where in Mexico the arrests were made.

All three are in custody pending extradition proceedings to Georgia, the GBI said.

Colone’s children were returned to the United States following the arrests, according to the GBI.
