Michigan reports 705 new cases of coronavirus, 12 deaths Wednesday
Michigan has lost 12 more people to the novel coronavirus and 1,536 more people have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the weekend update from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
The state's totals are now 6,692 confirmed deaths and 118,615 confirmed cases.

Michigan has a fatality rate of 5.7% among known cases.
The state has a positivity rate of 2.89%, reporting 942 out of 32,578 diagnostic test results returned Tuesday were positive.
The state has reported 317 probable COVID-19 deaths and 12,447 probable cases.
The probable cases combined with the confirmed cases make for a cumulative total of 6,997 deaths and 130,357 cases.
