AT&T and Hearst TV Joint Statement on Reaching New Retransmission Consent Agreement
NEW YORK, N.Y. and EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – Jan. 5, 2020 – Hearst Television and AT&T* (NYSE: T) have entered into a new multi-year retransmission consent agreement to provide Hearst-owned local broadcast stations to customers of AT&T’s video platforms across the country.
All Hearst-owned stations are returning to any impacted AT&T homes today. The agreement grants AT&T permission to provide Hearst’s 34 local broadcast stations to customers in 26 markets including Albuquerque-Santa Fe NM; Baltimore; Birmingham AL; Boston; Burlington VT; Cincinnati; Des Moines-Ames IA; Fort Smith AR; Greensboro-Winston-Salem NC; Greenville-Spartanburg SC-Asheville NC; Harrisburg-Lancaster PA; Jackson MS; Kansas City MO; Louisville KY; Milwaukee; Monterey-Salinas CA; New Orleans; Oklahoma City; Omaha NE; Orlando-Daytona FL; Pittsburgh; Portland-Auburn ME; Sacramento-Stockton-Modesto CA; Savannah GA; Tampa-St. Petersburg FL; and West Palm Beach-Fort Pierce FL.
