Funerals Monday for Abilene woman, 9-month-old daughter, murdered in Callahan County

BAIRD, Texas — The funerals are Monday for an Abilene woman and her 9-month-old daughter who were murdered in Callahan County.

Alia Rae Wojahn Hutchison, 22, and her daughter, Aria Ellen Dixon, will be buried in Waupun, Wisconsin.

Hutchison and Dixon were stabbed to death Oct. 12. Their bodies were found on CR 324 between Baird and Putnam.

Dixon's father, Cody Edmund Dixon, 34, is accused of killing them with a pocket knife.

Dixon said God told him to do it.

A Facebook fund created to raise money needed to bring the bodies back to Wisconsin -- where Hutchison's family lives -- raised $14,000.
