Mind The Gap 'Rock The Boat'
Local New Canaan Dads Played a Unique Covid Gig on the Water
On Sunday, September 6, local band Mind The Gap were invited to play a unique floating event in Milton Harbor, Rye, NY. "Rock The Boat" was the brainchild of Andy Bodnar. Other bands included The M62s, The New Regulars and Audio Circle.
Organizers requested social distancing and limited rafting to 2 boats. There was even a swimming mosh pit. It was reported that over 200 boats attended.
Mind The Gap Bassist, Peter Ditlevsen commented: "The local, live music scene has been starved during COVID-19, so creativity is key for music lovers and artists to be able to rock out safely. We are so grateful to Andy for the opportunity to play such an exciting, yet socially distanced event. We are hoping that during the Fall/Winter drive ins become a possibility!"
