Two years ago the streaming giant Netflix revealed a project on late singer Selena Quintanilla and now the anticipated season is set to air. The singer born in Texas is an icon and is known as the "Queen of Tejano music". Most remember the unfortunate date when in 1995 at the age of 23, the singer was shot to death. This is not the first time her life has been adapted to screen - Jennifer Lopez played the titular role in a 1997 biopic of the singer. The 2020 Netflix series is reportedly a two-part coming-of-age story that will take audiences from Corpus Christi where the singer first started, all the way to how her stardom came to be. Here is the cast that will bring the legendary story to your small screens.
