    Joel Embiid: NBA Players Should Do 'Background Check' Before Dating

    Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid has some thoughts when it comes to dating as an NBA player.

    "You gotta do your background check," Embiid told Clay Skipper of GQ (which contains profanity). "You don't want to be that guy marrying a girl that someone else in the NBA has been with. ... And maybe on the court they also get told."

    In the past, Embiid hasn't been shy about showing his affection for Rihanna on Twitter. And, as always, the 24-year-old seems content with offering his opinions to the rest of the NBA.
