Downers Grove To Hold Coronavirus Safety Poster Contest For Kids

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The village of Downers Grove is holding a poster contest for kids to help spread the word about coronavirus safety measures.

Kids of all ages, including high school children, are invited to create a poster around practicing "the three w's" to help prevent coronavirus. They are:

  • Wear a cloth covering over your nose and mouth
  • Watch your distance. Stay six feet apart and avoid close contact with others.
  • WASH your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer.

The winning posters will be used in the village to promote coronavirus safety. Winners will also get a "Downtown Dollars" certificate to spend at participating stores and restaurants in downtown Downers Grove.
