The Ohio State Highway Patrol investigates a plane crash in Sugarcreek Township in Wayne County.

Patrol says 43-year-old Jason Stropki of Uniontown was piloting the plane and flying in an area designated for pilots to perform fancy maneuvers.

His motor stalled out on him.  He attempted an emergency landing and the plane's left wing then struck a utility pole.

Neither Stropki nor his passenger was hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
