Angry Chick-fil-A customer shot dead after backing truck into restaurant

An unhinged Chick-fil-A customer in Nebraska was reportedly shot dead after he backed his pickup truck into the fast food eatery Tuesday afternoon.

The chaos erupted at the restaurant’s location in Lincoln about 1 p.m. when the man “just went off” and started throwing trays and flipping tables, David Arias, an employee, recounted to the The Journal Star.

Once the man was confronted by another customer, he fled outside before backing his Dodge pickup truck through the front doors, the report said.

The disgruntled customer then chased other people out of the restaurant.

An armed law enforcement officer, who happened to be waiting in line at the drive-thru, intervened and tried to calm the man down, the employee told the paper.

But when the man didn’t comply, the officer shot him. Employees said they heard two gunshots.

The owner of the franchise, Charlie Colon, gathered his workers in the parking lot after the mayhem and lead them in prayer.

“This will not define us,” he told them. “Your (God’s) love will.”
