SUSPECTS. >> HERE’S A LOOK AT THE MEN POLICE ARE TRYING TO FIND. THEY’RE PICTURES TAKEN FROM SURVEILLANCE VIDEO CAPTURED AT A CONVENIENCE STORE. AFTER POLICE SAY THEY BELIEV THE MEN WAITED FOR VISITORS TO PARK AT THE MEADOWRIDGE MEMORIAL PARK CEMETERY IN ELKRIDGE, THEN BROKE INTO THEIR CARS, STEALING PURSES, WALLETS, EVEN LAPTOPS. >> HER PURSE, HER WALLET, CARD DEEDS, EVERYTHING. >> WE INTERVIEWED FAITH LANG LAST WEEK. AFTER SHE SAID TWO MEN BROKE INTO HER MOM’S CAR, AS HER FAMILY PLANNED HER AUNT’S FUNERAL AND VISITED HER GRANDMOTHER’S GRAVE. >> CEMETERIES SHOULD BE A SAFE GROUND FOR PEOPLE TO COME AND ENJOY TIME WITH THEIR DECEASED LOVED ONES, AND YOU CAN’T EVEN DO THAT. >> INVESTIGATORS THINK THE MEN IN THE PICTURES ARE CONNECTED TO FOUR CAR BREAK-INS AT THE CEMETERY. AND TWO OTHERS AT NEARBY BUSINESSES SINCE DECEMBER SIXTH. THEY ALSO RELEASED A PICTURE O A BLACK DOD CHARGER THAT THE SUSPECTS MIGHT BE DRIVING. THIS CAN HAPPEN ANYWHERE, IT CAN HAPPEN AT THE CEMETERY, IT CAN HAPPEN WHEN YOU’RE RUNNING YOUR KID TO DAYCARE, WHEN YOU’ GOING TO THE GYM IN FRONT OF YOUR OWN HOUSE, WE REALLY URGE PEOPLE NOT TO LEAVE THEIR VALUABLES IN THEIR VEHICLE. I JUST THINK THAT’S DESPICABLE, I MEAN SOMEBODY COMING TO A CEMETERY WHERE THEY’RE TRYING TO GRIEVE, AND THEY GET ROBBED WHILE YOU’RE VISITING A GRAVESITE? THAT’S JUST CRAZY TO ME. Howard County police released pictures Friday of the men who they believe broke into people's cars at a cemetery in Elkridge.Many of the victims were visiting loved ones' gravesites at the time of the crimes. Police aren't saying exactly when and where the pictures were taken, but they're confident that someone will recognize them.Police believe the men waited for visitors to park at the Meadowridge Memorial Park Cemetery, then broke into their cars, stealing purses, wallets and even laptops.WBAL-TV 11 News spoke with Faith Lang on Jan. 8 after she said two men broke into her mom's car and stole "her purse, her wallet, cards, deeds, everything," as her family planned her aunt's funeral and visited her grandmother's grave."Cemeteries should be a safe ground for people to come and enjoy time with their deceased loved ones, and you can't even do that," Lang said.Investigators think the men in the pictures are connected to four car break-ins at the cemetery and two others at nearby businesses since Dec. 6, 2019.They also released a picture of a black Dodge Charger that the thieves might be driving."This can happen anywhere. It can happen at the cemetery, it can happen when you're running your kid to day care, when you're going to the gym, in front of your own house. We really urge people not to leave their valuables in their vehicle," Howard County police spokeswoman Lori Boone said."I just think that's despicable. I mean, somebody coming to a cemetery where they're trying to grieve and they get robbed while you're visiting a gravesite?
