Gecko Crawl: Dress like a gecko or in tropical clothes for this six-stop bar crawl with one free drink at each location, a poker run and an after-party. Stops include Caddy’s, Gulfport Brewery, Neptune Grill, North End Taphouse, O’Maddy’s and Tiki Bar and Grill. Takes place as part of Gulfport Geckofest. $25, $10 for poker. 4-9 p.m. Saturday. Summer Classics Movie Series: The 31st annual series of classic movies features silent films accompanied by the Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Organ, sing-alongs and modern-day classics. Countdown Improv Festival: The festival features 67 separate improv groups from 18 different states, Washington, D.C., Canada and the United Kingdom. This year’s festival also marks the debut of the Countdown Improv Festival Ensemble, comprised of eight individual improvisers from across the United States. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party: After a two-year hiatus, families can once again trick-or-treat among costumed Disney characters at this after-hours party with the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show, dance parties and the Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade. Bier Fest: It’s opening weekend for the festival in which guests will find a wide range of brews and beer-inspired food set up in kiosks around the park.
